NG Nordic strengthens its Executive Leadership Team

Trine-Marie Hagen joins as CFO – Espen Krey Brettås takes on dedicated responsibility for M&A and portfolio development.

NG Nordic strengthens its Executive Leadership Team to support its strategy for growth and value creation through a clearer division of roles between financial management and active portfolio optimization, profitable growth, and active ownership.

Trine-Marie Hagen will join as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on May 1, while current CFO Espen Krey Brettås will move to a newly created role as EVP M&A & Strategic Projects.

Trine-Marie Hagen has broad and solid experience from leading financial roles in major Nordic and international groups. She most recently held the position of CFO at Felleskjøpet Agri SA. Previously, she was CFO at Ekornes ASA and held key management and finance roles at Mentor Medier AS and Norske Skogindustrier ASA.

"I look forward to joining NG Nordic and becoming part of a group with clear ambitions and a strong position in the market. NG Nordic is facing exciting development, and I look forward to contributing my experience in financial management, value creation, and strategic development of the group," says Trine-Marie Hagen.

At the same time, the group's M&A activities are being refined through the establishment of the role of EVP M&A & Strategic Projects. As CFO, Espen Krey Brettås has played a key role in the development of NG Nordic and has in-depth knowledge of the group's portfolio, capital structure, and strategic opportunities.

"By establishing dedicated roles, we are strengthening our capacity in financial management, profitable growth, and active ownership. This paves the way for more targeted investments, a higher strategic pace, and better capital utilization," says Bjørn Arve Ofstad, Group CEO of NG Nordic.

With these changes, NG Nordic is positioning itself for further consolidation, selective investments, and long-term value creation for customers, owners and the capital market.
